For the lowest cost minimal pypilot setup you can plug these directly into a raspberry pi header such as a pi zero and have inertial sensors as well as the connection to a pypilot motor controller.
Useful as backup sensors as well.
The pypilot hat includes the inertial sensors, an lcd display as well as RF receiver for remote control. This simpler option only has the essential inertial sensors (IMU) or icm20948 part needed to drive the autopilot.
